And the good news is that we have reinstated the Chris Newman 1500m handicap race which is free for M&M Club members. To be eligible to enter you need a 1500m time, the slowest athlete goes off first, with the rest at intervals according to their sb and all runners should cross the line at roughly the same time. The Chris Newman Trophy will be awarded to the first across the line. Please note that individual times aren’t recorded, this is just a bit of fun. This race was started by Chris Newman, a former coach of the club who sadly passed in 2014.
