Several Medway & Maidstone athletes were selected for Kent to compete at the ESAA English Schools Combined Events Championships on the 16/17 September in Boston, Lincolnshire and in part, difficult stormy conditions.
George Blake and Joseph Thurgood put in great performances to take 14th (5392 points) and 19th (4999 points) place respectively helping Kent to win overall.
In the Intermediate girls heptathlon, Ashleigh West finished in 37th (3605 points) and in the senior girls, Natasha Scott finished in 21st (2853 points). Both performing well.
U15 Jack Childs also took second place in the 3000mW in 17.06.54
