Our last Open of the season will be on Saturday 6th September, details are here and entries are already open. Entries for the BMC 800m must be made through the BMC website .
As per normal at this meeting we have the Chris Newman 1500m handicap race for club members.This is free to enter just send your 1500m sb time to lin.neeves@gmail.com. The slowest runner goes off first with the other runners given a handicap according to their time declared and it should end up with all runners coming across the finish line fairly close together. There is a trophy awarded to the winner which is normally presented by Tim Newman, Chris’ son. Last year’s winner was Darren Wright so Darren if you can make sure that the trophy is returned in good time please.
We have also included some wheelchair races which is a first for us so hopefully the British Wheelchair Racing Association will publicise these.
