The SEAA Championships took place at Beckenham Place Park on Saturday 24th January. The Club were represented across most of the age groups.
The U13s Girls were represented by 3 runners; Sienna Delekat (144th), Coco Francis (165th) and Elsie Howden (184th). Ethan Lyons (11th) led the way in the U15 Boys with another strong run followed closely by Noar Gear (24th) also running well. Luca Del Guercio (145th) and Ethan Lintern (183rd) finished the team scoring with the team finished in 15th place.
Four boys turned out for the U15 Boys. Neck and neck throughout the race Joseph Stockwell (119th) and Billy Cook (120th). With support from Jack Gregory (159th) and Ethan Miles (209th). The team finished in 21st position.
Unfortunately with a number of drop outs for the U20s and U17s ladies we were not able to complete teams. Nevertheless there were still some great performances. In the U20s Women, Abigail raced competitively finishing in 5th position with Naveen Deo (14th) also running strong. Sofia Cudmore-Smith (52nd) ran well and was first in for our three representatives in the U17 Women. Team members Matilda Moisan (116th) and Thandiwe Haven Fesshaie (124th) completed the team. The U17 Men saw another strong run for Freddie Gibson (7th) and Declan Tighe (128th.
Our Senior Women were strongly represented. Ella Webb (28th) ran competively across a strong field. Followed in by Emily Hale (52nd), Anabel Young (83rd), Jenny Fowler (215) completing the scoring team position of 15th. Backed up by Sharne Elphick (226), Rachael Huntingford (296) and Angeline Smith (303).
Our Men’s team saw 6 competitors led in by Ben Tyler (57th), Jack Bradley (71st), Justin Lane (156), Alun Rodgers (281), Tom Collins (323) and Simon Stockwell (444th) to complete the team which finished in 18th position.
