Cross Country season 2025
Footscray Meadows – 11th October
The start of the cross country got underway with the first Kent league match taking place at a sunny Footscray Meadows on Saturday 11th October. There were strong representation and performances across the age groups.
The U13 Girls started the day with Aimee Barr first across the line for M&M in 22nd followed closely by Gracie Rodgers 23rd and Sienna Delekat 26th. The 3 to score team finished in 4th. Other results were Sophie Gell (27th), Poppy Taylor (36th) and Elsie Howden (44th).
In the U13 boys Ethan Lyons had a great run finishing in 4th. Noah Gear finishing strong for 8th and Luca Del Guercio 33rd completing the 3 to score with the team finishing 5th. Other results, Sam Smith 44th, Micah Hunter 52nd, Mason Ryder 77th and Harry Henderson 78th.
Rosa Truong ran well for 13th in the U15 Girls with Ava Malone 40th and Josie Hamilton-Rennhack 48th. The team finished 6th.
The U15 boys results saw the 3 to score team finishing 5th. Strong team performances from Tristan Linder 13th, Billy Cook 14th and Joseph Stockwell 25th. Other results Daniel Kershaw 38th, Jack Gregory 53rd, Logan Smith 76th, Cameron Drake 78th, Jude White 81st and Ethan Miles 85th.
The U17 Women saw strong performances from Rose Crossley 4th, Sofia Cudmore-Smith 9th and Martha Leek 12th with the 3 to score finishing in 1st place and Matilda Moisan 29th.
Freddie Gibson ran strong to finish in 2nd in the U17 Men. Declan Tighe 25th and Louie Gear 34th with the 3 to score in 4th. Cameron Davis 42nd.
Lola Sutton 2nd, Abigail Royden 3rd and Naveen Deo 6th completed a very strong 3 to score U20 team. Heidi Hughes 11th and Iris Crossley 13th.
Franklin Shepherd running well for 1st and Alfie Malone 8th were the U20 competitors.
The Senior Men 4 to score team of Jamie Walsh 6th, Ben Tyler 11th, Lee Cooper 21st and Alex Donnelly 31st finishing 4th. Tom Collins 35th, Justin Lane 47th, Neill Wright 51st, Richard Tomlinson 57th, Jacques Smit 68th, Jason Simmonds 82nd, Alun Rodgers 89th, Scott Lynch 99th finishing the 12 to score in 4th. Kevin Buchanan 102nd, Sean Rodwell 131st, Jerome Moisan 140th, Simon Stockwell 152nd, Noel Sutton 170th, Bob Fursey 176th, Mark Simpson 185th, Barry Royden 198th.
The SW had some competitive results with Lola Wheeler 6th, Emily Hale 8th and Ella Webb 10th with the 3bto score in 2nd. Annabel Young 14th, Taryne Fursey 34th and Karen Cudmore 40th finishing for the 6 to score team finishing in 2nd. Sharne Elphick 44th, Jenny Fowler 52nd and Jill Young 101st.
