The latest EA news as of 15th May is as on the website here Thank you to those that have renewed their membership. The latest from EA’s CEO, Chris Jones is here . As he mentions it is a challenging time for Clubs and we really need your support during this time. When we know more about the financial impact on the Club we can start to look forward and plan our way ahead and consider membership for next year. We just need to get through this uncertain time so please do bear with us. Likewise for those that may be facing financial concerns, please do get in touch. Coaches will be in touch when they are able to resume training of some capacity.  Membership renewal forms here (BACs details are on the membership form and can be posted (cheque if preferred) or emailed through once payment made. We will also let you know as soon as we are able to start to structure any phased return to training at both Medway Park and Sutton Valence working the leisure centre and school. It’s good to see athletes training from the younger to older groups. A few photos and videos can be found on the website here or Facebook page Medway and Maidstone AC

Welfare
Please keep vigilant with your children’s social media. We have recently been informed of a young athlete being contacted though their Instagram by a man with no identified organisation given, inviting them to find out more about possible athletic scholarships. This was a younger child and seeking out children directly is not acceptable. We will look into this further. As a Club we do get contacted from time to time but through the correct channels.

AGM/Presentation evening
As we were unable to hold our AGM/Presentation evening, please see a shortened online version of reports and Winter award winners on the website here  .We hope to give medals at a later date.

Keep well and hope to see you soon.
