Three young athletes from Medway & Maidstone took the race team prize at the Ashford & District 10 Km Road Race on Sunday. Aged just 19, 17 and 15, they finished 4th, 5th and 6th out of 515 finishers. The race was won by Charlie Brisley of Invicta East Kent, with Cameron Payas of Tonbridge AC taking silver and Marshall Smith of Ashford AC the bronze.
Simon Habtom was the the first runner from the club in 4th (35.23), followed by Ben Hughes in 5th (35.40) and Dan McGlynn in 6th (35.41). Bob Fursey who had run in The Kent League Cross-country the previous day finished in 47th place (44.16)
