Good Friday saw race two of the Kent Road Running Grand Prix, with the Folkestone 10mile race playing host.
M&M had a team of 13 athletes racing with strong teams in both the men’s and ladies competition.
Anthony Webb led the way home for M&M in 54:12 (5th and 1st M40), closely followed by Tom Collins in 54:57 (6th) then Justin Lane in 57:58 (10th). Alun Rodgers (29th) narrowly missed out on a M50 podium place, despite a big personal best run of 1:02:53. This strong showing from the men’s team saw them collect first place in the overall team competition.
First home for the M&M ladies was Chloe Hammond in 1:12:08 (16th lady), with Taryne McPherson (19th lady) not far behind in 1:13:16 and then Vanessa Vander (47th lady) completing the ladies team in 1:19:57.
