Anthony Webb and Alun Rodgers represented Medway & Maidstone AC in the British Masters’ 10,000m track championships at Horspath, Oxford on Sunday. Anthony, competing in the M45-49 age category was the first athlete to finish overall, mainly leading from the gun to the tape in a new age group club record of 32:47.53.
Alun led the earlier M55-59 race for the first 16 laps until the second and third placed athletes passed him and eased ahead, he eventually finished third in a new lifetime best and age group club record of 36:49.87.
