Several athletes competed for Kent at the Schools Combined Events and Race Walking Championships in Bedford.
In the combined events intermediate boys Octhalon Ben Blake finished in 25th (4032) and in the Senior boys Decathlon, brother George finished in 16th (4875). Unfortunately in the Senior Girls Hepthalon, Ashleigh West did not finish.
In the Race Walking Championships there was medal success. In the Junior girls Katie Stringer finished with a bronze medal in 17:27.55. In the Intermediate girls there was a bronze for Beatrice Fury (18:01.84) and a 5th place for Millie Morris 18:24.85.
