Some fantastic results for Medway & Maidstone in the ESAA Combined Events South East Regional Finals and and Race Walking Championships at Ashford over the weekend.
Ashleigh West finished in a fantastic 1st place in the Senior Girls Heptathlon with a total points score of 4058 with Kent taking 2nd place.
George Blake finished in a strong 7th place in the Senior boys Hepthathlon with a total points score of 5100 with Kent taking 1st team place.
Not to be outdone by his brother, Ben Blake finished a strong 8th place in the Intermediate Boys Octathlon with a total points score of 4379 again with Kent taking 1st team place.
All 3 have now qualified for the English Schools Combined Events Finals, 16th/17th September.
There was success in the Race Walking Championships for Katie Stringer finishing 3rd in the 3000m Walk 13-15 age group category in 17.53.0.
Millie Morris took 5th place in the over 15s age group category in 19.18.6.
