Multiple medal winner at the British Masters Indoor Championships at Lee Valley Arena was W65 Pat Oakes, who took gold in the high jump (1.09), long jump (2.97) and triple jump (6.59).
11th March 2012
Bernadette Harrop finishes 5th in the Lydd Half Marathon in a PB of 91:03.
Richard Tomlinson finishes 3rd in the Sevenoaks Multi-terrain 10k at Knole Park.
10th March 2012
James West (U17) and Scott Rowatt (U13) run well at the Inter Counties XC in Birmingham to finish 55th and 88th respectively.

Tom Collins begins his marathon build up with 2nd place in the Thanet 20.

25th February - National Cross Country Championships - Parliament Hill
Fantastic sunshine and the largest number of runners for many a year ran on the historic Parly Hill course. It was less muddy than usual but the hills and various boggy parts of the course still sapped the strength of many athletes.
Some great performances included top 100 finishes for
95 Megan Warner (U13 Girls)
79 Scott Rowatt (U13 Boys)
97 Tom Collins (Senior Men)

19th February - Kent Fitness League
Clayton Barrett finishes 2nd at Canterbury and is crowned the Senior Mens Champion over the season.
Another large turnout from our senior men and women sees us finish 8th combined team overall.
11th February - Kent Cross Country League
As the 2011/2012 cross country season draws to a close, the final Kent League fixture took place on a snowy Swanley course.
In the Senior Women team race, Medway and Maidstone won with Helena Penfold fifth, Jenny Harnett seventh and Bernie Harrop in eleventh place

Over the season as a whole, Medway and Maidstone won the most improved club award for males U20/U17/U15/U13 so congratulations to all those who contributed to our success.

January 28th - Southern Cross Country Championships
A tough hilly course in Brighton proved hard going for many Medway and Maidstone athletes. Results are on the SEAA site.
January 15th/21st/22nd - Southern Indoor Championships
Lee Valley got Olympic year track and field off to a start. SEAA are publishing results.
January 7th - Kent County Cross Country Championships
A relatively flat and fast course at Wilmington Grammar School, Dartford.
Team medals for:

Under 13 Boys (Bronze)
Under 13 Girls (Bronze)
Megan Warner (U13 Girls) and Scott Rowatt (U13 Boys) were both just outside the medals in 4th position.
