The Club's Under 17 Men had the best result of the day as they finished 5th at a flat and fast Wormwood Scrubs in North West London. The ground was hard and a fresh breeze hit the runners on the open fields, but this didn't stop Jake Berry as he blasted round the course to record the 2nd fastest time of the day on leg one.
In the senior men's race, Tom Collins continued where he left off the previous week in the Kent League with a strong run on a competitive first leg. Adie Lowther held onto the fourth spot on leg two before Mark Wilkins made a great return to racing just 13 days after completing a marathon. Tim Erskine had a great battle on the last leg and brought the team home in a creditable 7th.
