Championship Qualification for Whyman at Brighton Marathon – Sunday 14th April 2019

With a superb time in her first marathon, Jemma Whyman of Medway & Maidstone claimed an automatic Championship entry for next year’s London Marathon. Her time of 3.14.00 and excellent 19th position in the women’s race at Brighton, means Whyman will have the opportunity to line up with the world’s elite next year. She was followed by team mate Kerrie Clarke who also had a great race finishing in 3.43.07 and 22nd placed F45. Tom Collins was the only male runner from the club finishing in 29th in 2.44.36.

Daniel St Martin had a massive 30 minute PB running the Manchester Marathon, just missing the 3 hour mark – 3.00.14.
