A number of Medway & Maidstone young athletes took part in the Kent U13s Pentathlon Championships on Monday 27th August in Dartford. Our highest placed female finisher was Grace O’Connell taking 6th place. There was an outstanding performance from Daniel Hardy. He competed magnificently across the events taking first place which ranks him 2nd in the country.
The event also incorporated the Dartford Open meeting which saw Reece Perkins throw a PB in the Hammer and new club record of 41.53m. There was PBs for U15 athletes Sarah Mitchell in the Long Jump (3.63m) and Shot (5.47m) and Ciara Harrop (3.28m). There was also a PB for U11 Theo Ronchetti in the 150m (23.34).
