_ Medway and Maidstone AC is one of Kent's major athletics clubs. We are the only club in the county with use of 2 tracks: Medway Park and Sutton Valence School. We have over 300 members of mixed age (9 to 70+) and ability (beginners to international athletes), and welcome new members of all standards.
Our track and field, road running and cross country teams compete in local, regional and national events.

If you are interested in joining - all details are given on the "Joining" tab on the top of the page - there is no need to contact us first.

The Olympics are coming:
  • Several club athletes recently got a taste of the Olympics at the BUCS Track & Field Champs. Results from the Olympic Stadium on the event website.
  • Martin Brockman represented GB at the IAAF Combined Events Challenge in Italy. See his latest thoughts on the BBC website.
  • Get involved with the Olympics, by registering for the Medway Mile, which takes place on the date of the opening ceremony, 27th July 2012. The Maidstone Mile takes place the weekend before.

19th May 2012, Southern Mens League, Bedford
Men win again with some of the team competing in 3 or 4 events.

14th May 2012, Southern Vets League, Canterbury
Women win the second match in Division 2, whilst the men finish 4th in Division 1 again.

12th-13th May 2012, Kent Champs, Ashford
Gold Medals for:
Martin Brockman (High Jump & Pole Vault)
Mark Cryer (Long Jump & Hurdles)
Joe Clark (Long Jump)
Christopher Hobbs (3000m walk)
Jazmin Salter (200m)

In addition, Imogen Munday broke the under15 girls 800m club record in heat 2, only for Charlotte Harwood to beat  the new record in Heat 3 with a new club record of 2m-25.05s

6th May 2012, UK Young Athletes League, Sutton Valence
The teams continue their impressive performances with a win at SVS.
Club Athletes of the Match are Jazmin Salter with 18.5 pts and Joe Clark with 17.5 pts. Both will be rewarded with T-Shirts provided by the league. Full Results on Power of Ten

5th May 2012, Southern Mens League, Medway Park
Victory for the men's team in the opening fixture.  Results
Thanks to all those who turned up to help on the day, without you the match could not have taken place.

29th April 2012, National Junior League, Sutcliffe Park
A very wet and windy day meant conditions were far from ideal and the team were 3rd behind host club Cambridge Harriers and Ashford. Results.
Well done to all who turned out.

27th April 2012, Southern Vets League, Sutcliffe Park
Women win the first match in Division 2, whilst the men finish 4th in Division 1.
